About me
My profession is Systems Analyst and I specialize in Linux/UNIX administration & Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) solutions management. I'm located in Canada.
I've been using personal computers since the 80s and x86 based PCs since 1994. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sciences with a concentration in Computer Science. I've held various positions in IT and the most significant one for 8 years. Since my humble beginning in high school, through university and into my professional career, I've always been interested and passionate about Information Technology, but more importantly, I've never stopped learning. Whether talking about hardware, software, programming, administration, networking, design or other aspects, it's always been "my field".
I believe I have achieved a good balance between sound theoretical knowledge from a university level education and concrete, relevant, hands-on knowledge from years of work experience and self-teaching. Also, I am fluent in both French and English.
